Every article is condensed into a concise 150-200 word summary, giving you the essential facts without the fluff. No images. No videos. No distractions. Just the news.

Why short summaries? Because most news articles are 80% filler. We use AI to extract the key facts — who, what, when, where, and why — so you can stay informed in seconds, not minutes.

⏰ The 24-Hour Reset

Every 24 hours at midnight UTC, everything resets. Articles disappear. Comments vanish. The slate is wiped clean.

Why? Because news is ephemeral. Today's outrage is tomorrow's footnote. The 24-hour cycle forces focus on what's happening NOW, not endless debates about yesterday.

Spammers lose motivation when their spam disappears in hours. Trolls can't build reputations. Every day is a fresh start.

📰 Curated, Quality-First Approach

NewsBin delivers quality over quantity. We limit coverage to 18 carefully selected articles per category — about 90 articles total per day.

Why only 18 articles per category?

• No information overload — You can actually read everything that matters in 15-20 minutes
• Higher quality filtering — We prioritize the most important stories, not filler content
• Focused discussion — Fewer articles = deeper, more meaningful comment threads
• Less duplicate coverage — Same story from 10 outlets = waste of your time
• Fresh content, faster — Smaller feeds update quicker with breaking news

We pull from quality news sources including mainstream media (BBC, Guardian, Telegraph, Reuters, GB News) and focus exclusively on serious current affairs.

No celebrity gossip. No sports. No horoscopes. No lifestyle fluff. We aggressively filter out tabloid junk, clickbait headlines, and entertainment noise before it reaches you. Every article is about politics, economics, international affairs, technology, or major breaking news.

Every article is clearly labeled with its source so you know where it's coming from. We believe in transparency, not propaganda.

🔒 Privacy & Anonymity

• No user accounts
• No email collection
• No tracking cookies
• IP addresses hashed for rate limiting only (not stored)
• Comments deleted every 24 hours

💬 Comment Rules

We believe in free speech, not censorship. However, technical limitations apply:

• Text only (no images, HTML, or code)
• 500 character limit
• 5 comments per minute per IP (spam prevention)

Spam all you want — it's gone in 24 hours anyway. Most spammers give up quickly.
