The eight-part series, each episode running 15 minutes, centers on Ola, a 17-year-old sneaker enthusiast aiming to become the top fashion influencer in Helsinki. The show offers a fresh, inclusive portrayal of Nordic youth culture, diverging from the typical Nordic noir genre with its vibrant and upbeat tone. "Sneakermania" has garnered significant interest from international buyers, highlighted by its positive reception at Canneseries and earlier at Content Europe in Lisbon. The series features a diverse cast including Mohamed El-Waber, Ada Mustonen, Yosef Nousiainen, and others, and is co-written by Jani Airiainen, Aleksi Aro-Heinilä, and Zakariya Noor. Mia Ylönen, head of drama at Helsinki-filmi and a prominent figure behind productions like "Icebreaker," praised Iduozee as a uniquely creative new voice in Finnish television.
