Teenage boy dies after 'horrific' stabbing in Luton park as police launch murder probe

A murder investigation has been launched after a teenage boy died following a stabbing in a Luton park on Friday evening.Officers were called to Kingsway Recreation Ground at around 6.30pm following reports that several teenagers had been spotted "carrying large knives".A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds but died a short time later, Bedfordshire Police confirmed.The victim has not yet been formally identified, but his family are being supported by specially trained officers, police said.
