UK drivers face petrol station nightmare with soaring prices - cheapest and most expensive areas for fuel

Drivers up and down the country are facing soaring petrol and diesel prices as tensions in the Middle East force up the cost of oil.In the last week, prices have risen dramatically as oil soared back above $100 (£75), prompting experts to warn that fuel prices will rise further.Drivers around the UK are currently paying an average of 156.19p per litre for petrol and 173.15p for diesel.Prices have spiked since the end of February after the United States and Israel launched strikes against Iran, prompting the outbreak of war.
